Honest limits
- Luna does not diagnose conditions, replace a veterinarian, or provide medication dosages.
- Luna can discuss food-label text and ingredients that you type into the chat; Petive does not currently scan a food package with the camera.
- Urgent or severe concerns require professional veterinary or poison-control help, not an AI conversation.
Privacy and trust
Your pet data is not public by default.
Luna stays off until the user gives AI consent. Petive shows the context that may be sent, does not use Luna conversations to train AI models, and lets the user withdraw consent in Settings.

No. Luna is an AI pet-care assistant for general information and question preparation; it is not a veterinarian and cannot diagnose or prescribe.
Can Luna scan a pet-food label?
Not currently. You can type label or ingredient wording into Luna for general context, then confirm suitability with the food manufacturer or your veterinarian.
What should I do in an emergency?
Contact an emergency veterinary clinic or the appropriate animal poison-control service immediately. Do not wait for an AI response.
