Invite a caregiver to your Shared Pack
Open “Family & Care Team,” open the invite view, then share the care-team invite code or QR pass with the caregiver you trust.
Before you start
- Petive VIP must be active for the Shared Pack.
- The invited person needs Petive on iPhone and a signed-in account.
Steps
Open Family & Care Team
Open Settings & Preferences and choose “Family & Care Team.” You can also use the Shared Pack management entry in Pets.
Open the invite view
Use the invite action to display the current care-team QR pass and invite code.
Share one invitation method
Let the caregiver scan the QR pass, copy the invite code, or use the iPhone share sheet. Only send invitations to people you trust with the shared pet information.
Confirm they joined
Return to the member list after the caregiver completes sign-in. Their recognizable name and role should appear in the pack.
What happens next
The new member can see the pack’s pets and shared care activity after joining and synchronization completes.
Good to know
- Shared Pack supports four members total, including the owner.
- New shared updates require connectivity; they are not guaranteed to appear instantly while a device is offline.
Troubleshooting
The pack is full
Remove access for a member who no longer needs it before inviting someone new.
