Common fixes
Fix delayed Shared Pack updates
Connect both iPhones to the internet, reopen Petive, confirm both people still belong to the same Shared Pack, and check the Timeline again before creating a duplicate entry.
Steps
Stop before logging a duplicate
Ask the other caregiver whether they already saved the care. Delayed visibility does not necessarily mean the event was missed.
Connect both devices
Turn off Airplane Mode and confirm each iPhone has working Wi-Fi or cellular data.
Reopen Petive
Bring Petive to the foreground on both devices and allow it a moment to send queued changes and receive current shared data.
Confirm Shared Pack access
Open βFamily & Care Teamβ and verify both accounts still appear in the same pack.
Check Timeline and filters
Open Timeline, choose βAll,β and verify the correct pet is selected. A date, activity, or caregiver filter can hide a synchronized entry.
What happens next
Queued shared changes appear after the devices reconnect and the Shared Pack state refreshes.
Good to know
- Connectivity is required for new shared updates.
- Petive does not promise universal instant delivery while a device is offline.
Troubleshooting
Only one device remains out of date
Confirm that device is signed in to the expected Petive account and still listed in Family & Care Team.
A duplicate was created
Once both entries appear, verify the details and delete the incorrect duplicate from Timeline.
